Opal Doublet Care Instructions

Opal doublets feature a thin layer of opal bonded to an ironstone backing. To preserve the beauty of your opal doublet, it's important to avoid exposing it to water for extended periods. Prolonged moisture exposure can cause water to seep between the layers, which may result in separation and a foggy or grey appearance inside the stone. For cleaning, gently wipe the piece with a soft, damp cloth to maintain its luster and clarity.
